Gabion Construction Works – At a Glance

1. Tonhorai Gabion Construction
Persistent flooding and erosion threatened Tonhorai Primary School, with runoff water entering staff houses and classrooms and gullies reaching critical levels. Following the completion of gabion structures, we are pleased to report a significant reduction in flooding and the successful stabilization of erosion during this rainy season.
2. Wengezi Gabion Construction
Rapid erosion and gully expansion near the community required urgent intervention. The construction of gabions has now effectively contained soil erosion and land sliding, securing the area and preventing further degradation.
