Established in 1982, Nhedziwa Growth point is now one of the fastest growing urban settlement in Chimanimani District. The demand of housing has also gone up in that area. In order of improve access to service delivery, Chimanimani Rural District council has moved in to decentralize its service to the communities of Nhedziwa and the surrounding area through the establishment of a Sub Office.

Currently, the local authority is construction

a sub office at Nhedziwa Business Centre. With the substructure already complete, the project is expected to be completed by the end of November 2017.  Not only will the project improve the council’s visibility, but also the quality of service and turnaround time that the residents will get their issues attended to.
